Enhance your electric vehicle experience with a personal EV chargepoint

In the last decade, the number of electric and hybrid vehicles on UK roads has risen by 1,732%. It’s not surprising given that they are cheaper to run, easier to drive, and better for the planet. But what you might not know is that charging your electric vehicle (EV) at your own designated EV charge point is around half the price of charging at a public station. And it’s more convenient too.

EV charge points are perfect for the home, workplace, or public spaces. They enable you to charge your car where it would already be parked and take advantage of cheaper electricity rates at night or from your own renewable energy system. At Cactus Energy, we provide EV charge points compatible with any electric vehicle.

How Do EV Chargepoints Work?

EV chargepoints look like fuel pumps, but output electricity rather than petrol or diesel. When plugged in, your EV chargepoint will deliver electricity to your car’s battery. Charging will stop automatically once the battery is full. It’s just like charging your phone.

Bespoke Service

No two projects are the same. At Cactus Energy, we make it our mission to tailor each solution to the individual customer. We offer a variety of products to ensure that your battery storage system delivers maximum benefits and integrates seamlessly with your solar panels.

The process starts by assessing your energy needs and goals. You will be assigned a dedicated Project Manager, so the same friendly face will be your point of call from project inception to completion. And we don’t stop there. We provide ongoing education and advice to help you make the most of your system and enjoy a truly sustainable lifestyle.

Lower your running costs

Electric vehicles are cheaper to run than conventional cars. By switching to an EV, you could save over £500 a year on fuel alone. And if you re-charge with electricity from your own renewable energy system, your fuel is completely free!

Charging via an on-site EV charge point is cheaper than via public networks – around half the price, in fact. What’s more, homeowners and businesses can take advantage of Government grants that cover up to 75% of the cost of buying and installing an EV charge point. So what are you waiting for?

Save The Planet

Be part of the solution. By joining the transition to a cleaner transport network you can truly make a positive difference in fighting climate change and improving air quality.

EVs have a much smaller environmental footprint than conventional petrol or diesel cars, even when charged by grid electricity. If you hook your EV ChargePoint up to a renewable energy system, such as solar panels, you’ll be running a zero-emissions vehicle. Now that’s something to shout about.
